Compliance · Annual and consolidated accounts

The document you are judged on.

Your bank reads it. Your investors read it. One day, a buyer will read it. We make sure your annual report tells the right story and stands up to close scrutiny.

Most see the annual report as an obligation. We see it as the most-read document your business publishes.

Who it is for

For owner-managers, boards and groups whose accounts are put to work: financing, investment, succession or a sale.

We measure ourselves by who we work with, not how many. That leaves time to understand the business behind the numbers.

What we deliver.

  1. Annual reportPrepared under the Danish Financial Statements Act (årsregnskabsloven) and written to be read by more than auditors.
  2. Consolidated accountsConsolidation across companies and borders. One clear picture of the group.
  3. Management reviewThe part most people skim. The part your bank reads first.
  4. TaxThe tax computation reconciled with the accounts, so the figures and the tax tell the same story.
  5. DocumentationReconciliations and supporting documents in place before the auditor asks.
  6. Review with managementWe go through the figures with you before they are made public. No surprises.

Familiar faces

The same people. Every year.

You have a dedicated partner and a dedicated team who know your business. Not a case handler. Not a new name each year.

Over time, we know your business well enough to spot deviations before you ask.

Questions.

What is the difference between annual accounts and an annual report?

The annual accounts (årsregnskab) are the financial statements: income statement, balance sheet and notes. The annual report (årsrapport) is the full document, which also includes the management review and statements. It is the annual report that is filed and made public.

When must the annual report be filed?

For most companies, no later than five months after the end of the financial year. If the financial year follows the calendar year, the deadline is 31 May.

Does our annual report need to be audited?

It depends on the size of the company. Smaller companies can often opt out of an audit or choose a review instead. We help you assess what makes sense.

Which systems do you work in?

The ones you already use. We adapt to your set-up, not the other way round.

Can you take over from our current adviser?

Yes. We handle the handover and collect the material we need ourselves.

What do annual accounts cost?

It depends on the company’s size, structure and the state of the bookkeeping. We agree the price with you before we begin.
